Gekkoso's [Sketchbook]

月光荘の[スケッチブック]

Gekkoso's sketchbooks come in six types of paper (light, light dot, hot, extra hot, color book, and postcard book), seven sizes, and six cover colors. There are actually over 200 different types!

You can change the paper quality and cover color depending on the purpose and drawing method. It's a magical sketchbook that will give you an exciting boost in your creativity.

Among them, the thin dot sketchbook with 1cm-spaced dots is a masterpiece created at the request of Konosuke Matsushita, the founder of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. It won the Good Design Award in 2008.

The design of this Gekkoso original sketchbook was developed in collaboration with the Western-style painter Genichiro Inokuma. The binding design, which is designed so that the rings do not protrude outwards and the coils do not get caught on each other, was also shaped through discussions with Inokuma.

More than 1,000 Gekkoso Sketchbooks are sent to customers every month, and it is truly an astonishing amount of human effort and steps that go into completing one book.
