A new friend will be joining the Hornmark circle of friends. To commemorate the start of the handling of footwear artist Misawa Noriyuki at Gekkoso, we will be holding a special exhibition.
[WALK with HORN] ~Walking with the Horn~
"Is this a shoe or an object?" The viewer suddenly stops and thinks. Culture, will, prayer as an extension of the body. The shoes created by Misawa Noriyuki are not merely decorative, but are the very "question" that lies between footwear and culture. Gekkoso was deeply touched by this question.
The Palette Loafers, which were released last year, are now available in a new black calfskin color, and Misawa Noriyuki's shoes are finally available for general sale at Gekkoso.
As a result of Gekkoso handling his work, a new art piece by Misawa Noriyuki, "WALK with HORN," was born. This spiral design will be added to the historical art collection of Maison Gekkoso, which is based on the friendship between the two companies.
To commemorate these achievements, we will be holding the WALK with HORN exhibition in Studio 2.
To give shape to the as-yet-unnamed "something" that is born between footwear and the body, please come and feel the firm sound of our footsteps.
