"Shibo" refers to the small irregularities on the surface of a material. Shibo, a new addition to the Gekkoso sketchbook line, is characterized by its "textured paper surface," just as its name suggests.

The durable paper surface flexibly responds to the rich water of watercolor brushes and the powerful pressure of pencils and pens.

The natural whiteness brings out the colors of the paint and reflects the artist's touch as it is - truly a paper that "dances with paint."

● No front or back design <br>One sheet has both a "medium" and a "fine" thread on both sides, allowing you to use it freely according to your intentions.
The uneven surface allows for expression that makes use of brushstrokes and bleeding.
The smooth surface is ideal for layering and subtle blending.

● Lightweight and comfortable to use thanks to the top-glue binding
 Instead of the usual ring binding, this book uses "top-glue binding," which glues only the top edge of the stack of paper.
Each sheet can be peeled off cleanly, making handling your work very easy.
There are no perforations, so the edges of the paper will not become distorted and your artwork can be preserved beautifully.

● Water resistant and maintains color <br>Special neutral papermaking prevents discoloration,
It does not easily pill even when washed or wiped.
It is resistant to masking and erasing, providing a stable drawing experience.
