"What should I do for my independent research topic?!"
"I have to make this my independent research project so that people around me will praise me for it!"
I tend to think like that at the halfway point of summer vacation. It's true that when you create something, you can't avoid the evaluation of others. A work that doesn't catch anyone's eye, a song that doesn't reach anyone's ears, is the same as not existing.
However, we believe that the first step in expression is an inarticulate cry from the heart.
Children do their best to explain to their mothers what happened that day. They don't care about the timeline, the structure of the story, or whether the other person is interested or not. Even if their mother is annoyed, they will pull on their clothes to get them to listen.
I'm here!
This is how I felt about the world!
The desire to express what we feel and have someone accept it is an instinct that humans are born with.
The experience of having your heartfelt expression fully accepted will be an invaluable asset as you grow.
By the way, screaming has nothing to do with technique. It has nothing to do with composition, drawing, or, in terms of music, pitch or rhythm. The first thing to do is to experience the pleasure of letting out the overflow of inarticulate impulses and desires.
When you want to express that shout more precisely, that's when you start to need skill. Learning something before you shout is like practicing a speech when you have nothing to say. You need to express something you want to say vividly first.
Not to be evaluated by others, but to live as yourself. Gekkoso will continue to support such expressions.
Feel free to do your research as you like!
